Hi! My name is Lora Hamilton and I am the Resource Teacher. I am a veteran teacher and have taught grades (K-6), and was a Special Education Coordinator in California.
My educational background includes: an undergraduate degree in special education and elementary education from Brigham Young University, and a masters degree from the University of Utah.
 
I have one son and three grandchildren. Some things I enjoy are traveling, reading, hiking,and spending time with my family.

My name is Allison Larsen, and I’ll be the Behavior Support Technician at Diamond Valley Elementary School. I grew up in Murray, Utah, and moved to the lovely Winchester Hills in 2020. I graduated from Utah Tech University with a High Honors Associate Degree, which is where I developed my love for learning. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, cooking, and reading. I can’t imagine a better place to be than Diamond Valley Elementary, and I’m very excited to be supporting your amazing students.

Hi! I'm excited to be here at Diamond Valley! I grew up in Bunkerville and lived in the valley all my life. I'm married and have 5 kids, and almost 15 grand kids! We wanted a change of scenery and decided to build a house  in Veyo.  We love the small town feel and the 4 seasons. In my free time you can find me hanging out with my grand kids, going to NFL games, vacationing, and doing yard work:) I love working with the kids in the Skills Room!

My name is Shayla Erickson and I love working with the students at Diamond Valley. I was born and raised in St. George and I love it here. I graduated with my Masters Degree from Utah State University in Communication Disorders.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids, going to the lake, traveling, and eating good food.

"I started working as a speech paraprofessional at Diamond Valley in 2020. I loved working with the speech students so much that I went back to school and got a bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders. I live in Santa Clara with my husband, our 4 kids, and our dog. We love watching movies together and spending time outdoors. I also enjoy reading and playing the piano. I'm so grateful to be at Diamond Valley with all of our wonderful students and staff!


Rachel Morley : School Psychologist

Hi!  My name is Rachel Morley, and I have been a school psychologist for 12 years.  I love working with school teams to help students thrive in school and in life.  I grew up in the Midwest, and I am still in awe of the beauty of Southern Utah.  In my free time, I love spending time with my husband, three kids, and our dog.  Reading is my biggest passion, but I also enjoy hiking, biking, road trips, and watching documentaries.


DVES Faculty

Our teachers at Diamond Valley Elementary are highly experienced, educated, and dedicated. We have a combined total of over 100 years of teaching. Most of our faculty have taken Gifted and Talented post-graduate classes with many receiving the full endorsement. Many have also received their Master’s Degree, Reading Endorsement, Math Endorsement, or ESL Endorsement. Each faculty member works their hardest to provide a high quality education for every student. The teachers have fun and professional personalities that make Diamond Valley a place that children love to be.
