I am originally from Henderson, NV where I lived with my amazing parents and older brother. My love for basketball and desire to receive quality education is what brought me to St. George. I am a former college athlete and proud Trailblazer alumni! I graduated in 2018 with my bachelor's in Exercise Science. After college, I coached 5 seasons of high school basketball. I always knew I wanted to teach and with the help of my family back home and support system here in St. George, I committed to making it happen! I am now into my 4th year teaching PE and still feel like i'm living the dream. I am looking forward to joining the Diamondbacks for an awesome school year!

I was born and raised in Enterprise! I have an amazing husband and 1 beautiful little girl! I have worked for the school district in different capacities off and on for about 5 years now! I teach computers and I love finding new technology and techniques to teach the kids! Teaching is my passion and I am working toward my Bachelors for Elementary and Special Education.

I was born and raised in Alberta, Canada and recently became an official American citizen. I was a military spouse for 18 years and have been stationed in Delaware, Germany, England and New Mexico. I have a diploma of Interior Design/Merchandising and am excited to teach at Diamond Valley Elementary!

Jasmine Tanner | Librarian

Jasmine Tanner has a long history with DVES. She attended the school as a second grade student when DVES opened in 1997. Since then, she has received her college degree from Utah Valley University. Jasmine has been working at DVES for five years. She has worked in both preschool and kindergarten classrooms. In her spare time Jasmine loves to read, spend time with her family, and eat Pizza Factory salad and breadsticks for lunch.

Our teachers at Diamond Valley Elementary are highly experienced, educated, and dedicated. We have a combined total of over 100 years of teaching. Most of our faculty have taken Gifted and Talented post-graduate classes with many receiving the full endorsement. Many have also received their Master’s Degree, Reading Endorsement, Math Endorsement, or ESL Endorsement. Each faculty member works their hardest to provide a high quality education for every student. The teachers have fun and professional personalities that make Diamond Valley a place that children love to be.
